Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Pots For Grabs ("we", "us", "our") you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

Our products are handcrafted GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) fibre-cement pots and planters. Each item is made to order or held in small batches. Colours, sizes, and finishes may vary slightly between production runs.

Product images are for illustration purposes only. Actual colour shades may differ from photographs due to screen calibration, photography lighting, and natural variation in pigments.

Our products are fragile. By purchasing you acknowledge and accept the following:

• GRC pots are heavy, rigid, and can crack or chip if dropped, struck, or mishandled.
• You are responsible for safe handling once goods are in your possession or accepted from the courier.
• We are not liable for damage caused by improper lifting, inadequate support, dropping, striking, or stacking of products after delivery or collection.
• You must inspect all items at the point of collection or delivery before signing/accepting. Signing a waybill or accepting goods without noting damage constitutes acceptance in good condition.
• Damage resulting from installation, use, or exposure to conditions beyond normal outdoor use (e.g. freezing water expanding in sealed pots, chemical contact, vehicle impact) is not covered.

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged or added to any order and the price you see is the price you pay. Delivery fees are calculated separately at checkout based on your location.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an order has been placed at an incorrect price we will contact you before processing payment.

Wholesale / trade pricing is available only to verified business accounts. Applying for trade pricing does not guarantee approval.

An order is confirmed only once payment has been received and verified. We accept EFT (electronic funds transfer) and card payments via Paystack.

EFT orders are held for 48 hours. If proof of payment is not uploaded within 48 hours the order may be cancelled and stock released.

Order numbers take the format ORD-XXXXXX, six letters and digits after the prefix. Keep your order number for all correspondence.

We deliver within Gauteng. Delivery fees are flat-rate per suburb/zone as shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, road closures, or events outside our control.

Factory collection is free from our Krugersdorp facility by prior arrangement. Collection slots must be booked; walk-in collection without an appointment may not be accommodated.

Risk of loss and damage passes to you on collection from our premises or on delivery to your address (or to a person authorised to receive on your behalf).

Because you order online, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives you 7 days from receiving your order to cancel it for any reason, without penalty and without giving a reason. Nothing in these terms limits that right, and section 48 of that Act would make any attempt to do so void.

Within that window: return the goods unused and undamaged in their original packaging, at your own cost, and we refund you in full including the original delivery fee within 30 days.

The Act excludes goods made to your own specification, meaning a size, shape or colour we do not offer in the catalogue. Anything ordered from the shop pages is covered.

Separately, and at any time before dispatch, you may simply cancel by emailing info@potsforgrabs.co.za with your order number, and we will refund you without you needing to receive or return anything.

Please see our Return Policy for full details. In summary:

• You may cancel for any reason within 7 days of receipt, as set out in section 7 above.
• Damage that occurred during transit must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
• Manufacturing defects must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
• Beyond the 7 day cancellation window we do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or customer-caused damage.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific item(s) in dispute.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or damage to plants and property caused by pot failure, unless such failure is the direct result of a proven manufacturing defect.

We collect only the personal information necessary to process your order and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Payment processing is handled by Paystack; we do not store card details.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires an online seller to identify itself. Ours:
